The La Salette Academy Lions waltzed into their game on Tuesday with five straight wins but they left with six. They walked away with a 54-43 victory over Milford. This was payback for La Salette Academy, who suffered a 47-34 loss the last time these two teams met.
La Salette Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Eamon Martin out in front who scored 22 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Martin has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Hall, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
La Salette Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Milford, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. La Salette Academy will take on Dupo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Milford, they will head out on the road to challenge Chrisman at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chrisman is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
