On Friday Forsyth take on Scobey/Opheim at 7:00 PM. If the matchup is anything like the 66-36 finish from the last time they met, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
Last Friday, Forsyth put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They put the hurt on Lodge Grass with a sharp 52-18 victory. Forsyth were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
In almost any game, 50 points would all but guarantee a win. Not in this one. Scobey/Opheim took a 50-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Circle. This makes it the second loss in a row for Scobey/Opheim.
Forsyth's win lifted them to 3-3 while Scobey/Opheim's defeat dropped them down to 3-3. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
