The Quaboag Regional Cougars will head out on the road to take on the Leicester Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Thursday, Quaboag Regional was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 46-41 to the Tigers. It was the first time this season that Quaboag Regional let down their fans at home.
Meanwhile, Leicester came into Tuesday's match having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 47-38 victory over Oxford on Tuesday. The victory was just what Leicester needed coming off of a 61-38 defeat in their prior contest.
Quaboag Regional's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-7. As for Leicester, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-12.
Quaboag Regional was able to grind out a solid win over the Wolverines when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 59-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Quaboag Regional since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
