Althoff Catholic won the last time they faced Collinsville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Crusaders came out on top against the Kahoks by a score of 2-0.

Althoff Catholic never let Collinsville on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23.

Reece Distler paced Althoff Catholic's offense, picking up 13 kills. Distler got some help from Arista Bunn and her 26 assists.

Althoff Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. Having lost for the first time this season, Collinsville fell to 2-1.

Althoff Catholic and Collinsville will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Crusaders will square off against rival Maryville Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Collinsville is set to challenge their familiar foe Belleville East at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
