After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Paschal, Trimble Tech was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Polytechnic Parrots as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.
One reason for the win was Trimble Tech's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 25-7.
Naomi Michael-Ogbe paced Trimble Tech's offense, picking up seven kills. Michael-Ogbe got some help from Samiya Breedlove and her 11 assists. April Gomez controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.
Trimble Tech has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-16 record this season. As for Polytechnic, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-18.
