Stratford put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They blew past the Goose Creek Gators 15-0. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Bryce Herpolsheimer was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Herpolsheimer was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.

In other pitching news, Kyle McDowell looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

Back at the plate, Jason Smith was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Walter Argrett was another key player, going 3-for-4 with six RBI, two doubles, and one run.

Stratford always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matches.

Stratford's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Goose Creek, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18-2.

As of now, neither Stratford nor the Gators have any future games scheduled.
