The Collinwood Railroaders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight defeat. They were the victim of a rough 62-37 loss at the hands of Orange. Collinwood was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-16.
Orange was led to victory by Dominic Anekwe and Ernie Pryor. Anekwe scored 22 points, while Pryor scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Pryor has scored at least a third of Orange's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jhamir Smith, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Collinwood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Orange, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.
Collinwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Orange, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Hawken at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Orange has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
