After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Monument Mountain, Lee was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Mount Everett Regional Eagles as they made off with a 20-5 victory. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Kayla Clark made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Clark was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lexi Ciavola, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
