In what's become a running theme this season, the Paducah Dragons gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They really took it to Spur for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-30 victory at home. The win was just what Paducah needed coming off of a 80-32 loss in their prior game.
Leading Paducah to victory were Jakyen Wright and Maverick Monroe. Wright scored 18 points, while Monroe scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Monroe has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ethan Garabaldi, who scored eight points.
Paducah is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Spur, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paducah will take on Motley County at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spur, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Guthrie at 7:30 p.m. Guthrie is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
