The Show Low Cougars put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Campo Verde by a score of 51-40. For Show Low, this counts as revenge for the 62-47 loss Campo Verde walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
It was another big night for Raquel Wilson, who scored 18 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. The game was her sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Mikenzie Kulish, who scored 6 points along with 4 steals.
Show Low's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Campo Verde, they have fallen quite a ways from their 22-9 record last season and are now at 1-2.
Show Low is on the road again on Saturday and play against Flagstaff at 5:00 p.m. on December 9th. Flagstaff will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while Show Low is ranked fifth). As for Campo Verde, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westview at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
