The Ribault Trojans stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Parker 81-48 at home. Given Ribault's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Braves are ranked 617th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Caleb Williams was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 39 points and nine assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Boyd, who scored seven points along with five assists and five steals.
Ribault pushed their record up to 18-6 with that victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Parker, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
Ribault will face off against the Warriors at TBD on Tuesday. West Nassau is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Parker's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Wolverines on February 6th.
