It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Southern Alamance had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Triton Hawks. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won 14 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the third in a row for Southern Alamance, bringing their record up to 19-6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Triton, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.

As of now, neither Southern Alamance nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
