The Monterey Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 19th straight loss. They fell just short of Scott by a score of 51-48. Monterey has struggled against Scott recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Monterey's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiden Roberson-Barber, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gustavo Galindez, who scored 14 points along with two blocks.
Monterey dropped their record down to 2-27 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Scott, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-8.
Monterey does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Scott also has no future games currently scheduled.
