It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Bullis Bulldogs ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They snuck past 1 of 1 Academy with a 74-70 victory. Winning may never get old, but Bullis sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
When it comes to explaining why 1 of 1 Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Yohance Conner. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points and 3 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Sebastian Akins-Chong, who scored 15 points.
Bullis' victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for 1 of 1 Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.
Bullis will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Landon at 6:00 p.m. Landon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Bullis likes a good challenge. 1 of 1 Academy on the road again on Sunday and play against Mt.
