After a string of three wins, Hubbertville's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 58-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Marion County. Meanwhile, Brilliant beat Vina 65-53 on Monday.
Hubbertville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Brilliant, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
