  Reed Cotton was  his usual excellent self,  going 11 of 15 from beyond the arc on his way to 50 points and five  steals. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 16.8  points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aiden Lomasney, who  went 8 of 18  on his way to 19 points along with seven  rebounds and six  assists.
 Meanwhile, Capital HomeSchool was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  on Saturday as they fell  69-63 to Fort Wayne HomeSchool. Capital HomeSchool hasn't had much luck with Fort Wayne HomeSchool recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
 Lapeer Lakers Homeschool has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 12 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record  this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Capital HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
