It was a good run, but the Julian Eagles unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a serious blow against Bonsall, falling 72-29. Julian has not had much luck with Bonsall recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carlo Martinez, who scored 11 points. Max Cruz was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Julian's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-9. As for Bonsall, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8.
Julian will take on Escondido Adventist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Escondido Adventist Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Bonsall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
