Babcock entered their tilt with Island Coast on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Island Coast Gators, posting a 60-25 win. The Trailblazers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Babcock's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marianeliz Murillo, who posted 11 points and five boards. Juliana DeAngelis also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Babcock has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points per game. As for Island Coast, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.

Babcock will venture away from home to face off against Sarasota Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Island Coast, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against North Fort Myers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Fort Myers' defense has only allowed 28.4 points per game this season, so Island Coast's offense will have their work cut out for them.
