South Florence extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Harmony Bostick. The Bruins were the clear victors by a 61-36 margin over the Lake City Panthers on Saturday for which the team can thank Bostick, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 12 rebounds. Her big performance that evening made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points.

Allyson Watson was another key player, putting up ten points and five steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played.

Despite the loss, Lake City saw an underclassman step up: freshman Hannah Riles posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of JADA ROBINSON, who earned three points and nine boards.

South Florence's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Lake City, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Florence will head out to face off against Socastee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake City, they will venture away from home to take on Kingstree at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' defense better be ready for this one: the Blazers have averaged an impressive 50.8 points per game this season.
