Eagle's Landing has struggled against Union Grove recently, as their contest on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Jordan Brooks continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Union Grove, scoring 24 points along with six assists and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Brooks has scored at least 25% of Union Grove's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nadea Smith, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Eagle's Landing's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Union Grove, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1.
Eagle's Landing will head out on the road to face off against Ola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ola will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 412th, while Eagle's Landing is ranked 140th). Union Grove won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Pleasant Grove at 2:30 p.m. on January 6th. Pleasant Grove is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
