Even though the Lab University Prep Regional Lab Rats scored an imposing 55 points on Monday, the Greater Vision Academy Lions still came out on top. Greater Vision Academy took down Lab University Prep Regional 74-55. The win made it back-to-back wins for Greater Vision Academy.
Greysen McCadden continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Titus Tucker, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Lab University Prep Regional lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Christian Jones, who scored 21 points. Verquan Kimbrough was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Greater Vision Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Lab University Prep Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greater Vision Academy on the road again on Tuesday and play against Forsyth Home Educators at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th. Hopefully Forsyth Home Educators focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday. As for Lab University Prep Regional, they will head out on the road to take on Hickory H at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Hickory H is ranked 438th, while Lab University Prep Regional is ranked 443rd).
