For the second straight game, Central Catholic will face off against Patterson. Central Catholic will head out to square off against Patterson at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Catholic is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Central Catholic barely beat Patterson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Central Catholic put the hurt on Patterson with a sharp 15-8 win on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Raiders needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

For Patterson's part, Max Medina was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. Medina was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in February of 2024.

In other batting news, Jimmy Chagoya made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Guy Allard, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Even though they lost, Patterson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Central Catholic's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 7.4 runs this season. As for Patterson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
