Wapahani stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 112-18 win over Union at home. Wapahani's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Isaac Andrews and Camden Bell were among the main playmakers for Wapahani as the former went 6 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points and 2 assists and the latter scored 31 points along with seven steals. Andrews is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 17 every time he's taken the court this season. Nate Luce was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Monroe Central had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Union, posting a 66-20 win at home.
Wapahani pushed their record up to 16-2 with that victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.2 points. As for Monroe Central, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12.
Everything came up roses for Wapahani against the Golden Bears in their previous meeting back in March of 2023 as the team secured a 76-33 victory. With Wapahani ahead 40-13 at the half, the match was all but over already.
