It was fun while it lasted, but Swansea's undefeated season came to an end after seven games on Saturday. They fell just short of Saluda by a score of 5-4. The contest marked Swansea's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Swansea saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Hair, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Swansea fell to 7-1. As for Saluda, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Swansea Tigers face off against Pelion Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Saluda, they will challenge American Leadership Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. American Leadership Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
