Clewiston and Immokalee are an even 3-3 against one another  since September of 2014, but  not for long. The Clewiston Tigers will head out to  challenge the Immokalee Indians  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
 Clewiston can't be to happy about their upcoming road  contest considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home  on Friday. They were beaten by Key West 35-6. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  28-6.
 Meanwhile, Immokalee hasn't done well against Barron Collier recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. Immokalee breezed by Barron Collier on the road  to the tune of  59-28.
 Immokalee's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Jontay Hais, who rushed for 212 yards on only 12 carries. Hais really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 89-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jayden Mixon, who rushed for 167 yards on only 14 carries.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Immokalee was moving up and down the field and  finished the game with 530  total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Barron Collier only gained 398.
 Clewiston might still be hurting after the  36-16 loss they got from Immokalee  when the teams last played  back in October of 2019. Can Clewiston avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
