Aspire Ollin took a 59-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Orthopaedic. Aspire Ollin has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Aspire Ollin's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christopher Gomez, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ismael Osuna, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Aspire Ollin has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Orthopaedic, their win bumped their record up to 12-9.
Aspire Ollin will be playing in front of their home fans against Annenberg at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Annenberg is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Orthopaedic, they will head out on the road to square off against Central City Value at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Central City Value focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Wednesday.
