Softball Recap: Waupun Takes Down Sheboygan Falls in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Waupun rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Sheboygan Falls Falcons a 16-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Waupun's third in a row) raised their record to 17-9. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Sheboygan Falls, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.

As of now, neither Waupun nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
