Gio Salda?a made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Nathan Schomburg was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Jersey Village had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past Cypress Falls 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since March 9, 2024.
Daniel Trejo looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Nathan Ultis was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was David Castillo Guerra, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Jersey Village hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 3-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
