Given Prestonwood Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Vikings are ranked 424th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Prestonwood Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kennedy Price, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Londyn Oliphant, who scored 18 points.
Prestonwood Christian pushed their record up to 25-5 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Nolan Catholic, they now have a losing record at 15-16.
