The Richards Bulldogs won the last time they faced the College Prep of America Thunder, and things went their way on Saturday too. Richards came out on top against College Prep of America by a score of 60-53. The win made it back-to-back wins for Richards.
Despite the loss, College Prep of America still got an impressive performance from Hamzah Shouman, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. Shouman hasn't dropped below 15points for nine straight games. Ibrahim Elagha was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
Richards' victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for College Prep of America, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-11.
Richards will head out on the road to square off against Shepard at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shepard is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for College Prep of America, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Unity Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Unity Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six contests.
