Cape Henry Collegiate hit Nansemond-Suffolk Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Megan Zimmerman, Lauren Kimball, and Mia Washburn.

Meanwhile, Hampton Roads Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Catholic. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Hampton Roads Academy couldn't quite close it out.

Hampton Roads Academy now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, the win got them back to even at 5-5-2.

Cape Henry Collegiate was able to grind out a solid victory over Hampton Roads Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Dolphins repeat their success, or do the Navigators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
