Three Rivers recap Oct. 31, 2012
Manchester was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in Three Rivers.
North Miami led the league in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on Northfield.
Dayton Cohagan was the best wideout in the league this week as Tippecanoe Valley fell to Heritage. Cohagan tallied three receptions for 79 yards. Justin Gunter helped Tippecanoe Valley's passing attack out by catching one ball for five yards.
Gunter was the most productive running back in Three Rivers this week. He ran for 153 yards on 19 carries as the Vikings lost to the Patriots. Teammate Jarred Littlejohn added to the ground attack by rushing for 20 yards.
Robbie Cole put up the best numbers through the air as Southwood lost to Adams Central. He finished with a total of 10 completions for 134 yards and one touchdown. Cole's favorite target this week was Kyle Weaver, who caught four passes for 71 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Cole and Nathan Hollars the Knights have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Cole leads the league in passing with 1608 yards, while Hollars has rushed for 1408 yards this season. Tippecanoe Valley's Tanner Andrews leads the league in receiving yards with 734 on 37 catches.
