Basketball Recap: Lincolnview Piles Up the Points Against St. John's

Lincolnview won the last time they faced St. John and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lincolnview Lancers breezed by the St. John's Bluejays to the tune of 64-26. That 38 point margin sets a new team best for the Lancers this season.

Lincolnview was led to victory by Keira Breese and Emerson Walker. Breese went 9 of 15 on her way to 23 points and four steals, while Walker went 5 for 9 en route to 12 points and five steals. Breese's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Ashlyn Price was another key player, going 5 of 9 en route to 10 points and eight boards.

Lincolnview's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for St. John's, their loss was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-19.

Lincolnview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-39 defeat against Allen East on the 30th. As for St. John's, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the St. John's Bluejays take on the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. St. John's is facing Lima Central Catholic at the right time seeing as Lima Central Catholic is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
