The Kennard Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Apple Springs. Kennard has not had much luck with Apple Springs recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Dakota Campbell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Apple Springs, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Campbell has scored at least a third of Apple Springs' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Randell, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Kennard has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season. As for Apple Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennard will challenge Slocum at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Slocum is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for Apple Springs, they will head out on the road to square off against Laneville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
