Academy of Science and Innovation is 9-1 against Achievement First since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. In what's become a running theme this season, Academy of Science and Innovation gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Capital Prep 81-47 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-26.
Jamal Kulaib was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with seven steals and six assists. Mohammad Kulaib was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Achievement First came up short against Prince RVT on Wednesday and fell 59-52.
Academy of Science and Innovation pushed their record up to 11-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.67 points. As for Achievement First, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
Everything went Academy of Science and Innovation's way against Achievement First when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as Academy of Science and Innovation made off with a 60-40 win.
