The Ada Cougars were the 71-41 winner over the Muldrow Bulldogs when they last played one another back in February of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. Ada took a 43-26 bruising from Muldrow on Thursday. Ada has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ada's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Campos, who scored 8 points.
Ada's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Muldrow, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Ada will be playing in front of their home fans against Cherokee at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Muldrow, they will head out on the road to face off against Inola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
