The Brook Hill Guard had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against Pollok Central by a score of 43-32.
Brook Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Remy Tonroy, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Onley, who scored ten points.
Brook Hill has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Pollok Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
Brook Hill will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Shelton at 1:00 p.m. on January 5th. Shelton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1186th, while Brook Hill is ranked 537th). As for Pollok Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hemphill at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
