The Woodland Wolves lost against the Dixon Rams back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Woodland took a 53-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dixon. Woodland has struggled against Dixon recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Woodland still got an impressive performance from Lincoln Twilley, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 15 rebounds. The game was Twilley's third in a row with at least ten points.
Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Dixon, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Woodland will look to defend their home court on Monday against Mira Loma at 7:30 p.m. As for Dixon, they will head out on the road to face off against Casa Roble at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Casa Roble's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
