Meanwhile, Oxbow had to endure a nine-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They skirted past Twinfield 62-60. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Thetford Academy pushed their record up to 3-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Oxbow, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-4.
Thetford Academy strolled past Oxbow in their previous matchup last Wednesday by a score of 55-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Thetford Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
