After losing to the Pembroke Dragons the last time they met, the Elba Lancers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Elba walked away with a 54-46 win over Pembroke on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Elba.
Several Dragons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayden Hootman, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Onolee Easterbrook, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
Elba's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pembroke, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.
Elba will face off against Attica at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pembroke, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Webber at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
