The Lyman Greyhounds's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 56-49 to Pine Ridge. Lyman has struggled against Pine Ridge recently, as their game on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Lyman's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Max Mattingly, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Coleman Miller, who scored 11 points along with seven assists.
Lyman's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Pine Ridge, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.
Lyman will face off against Lake Brantley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Lake Brantley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Wednesday. Pine Ridge is on the road again on December 22nd and play against Tavares at 3:00 p.m. on December 22nd.
