The Presentation Toppers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 63-45 to Christian Educational Consortium. Presentation lost against Christian Educational Consortium in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 69-53 score last time.
Christian Educational Consortium was led to victory by Jenna Wyndham and Rachel King. Wyndham scored 25 points, while King scored 24 points along with 8 steals and 6 assists. That makes it two consecutive games in which King has scored at least 25% of Christian Educational Consortium's points. Erin Mitchell was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Presentation's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Christian Educational Consortium, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Presentation will challenge Frankfort at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christian Educational Consortium, they will head out on the road to face off against Thomas Nelson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
