The Western Hills Wolverines lost against Great Crossing back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Western Hills had to suffer through a rough 84-39 loss at the hands of Great Crossing. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Western Hills has scored all season.
It was another big night for Vince Dawson, who scored 16 points along with seven steals and six assists for Great Crossing. The contest was Dawson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Jeremiah Godfrey was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds.
Western Hills' defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-4. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Great Crossing, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Western Hills will head out on the road to face off against Sayre at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Great Crossing will take on North Oldham in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at. North Oldham has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 389 points over their last five games.
