The Sulphur Bulldogs will take on the Anadarko Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Anadarko's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: Sulphur hadn't allowed a single point the last three times they've hit the field. The Bulldogs never let Mannford get on the board and left with a 48-0 win on Friday. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked third, while the Pirates are ranked 103rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sulphur to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kale Brakefield, who threw for 236 yards and three TDs while completing 73.7% of his passes. Bridge Barrett was in the mix as well, providing the Bulldogs with two touchdowns.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Sulphur proved: they limited Mannford to a paltry 2.3 yards per carry. The team can thank Jaden McClure for the heroic effort on defense: he. Sulphur didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.8.
Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Anadarko's strategy against North Rock Creek on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Warriors blew the Cougars out of the water with a 28-0 final score. The Warriors pushed the score to 21-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars had little chance of recovering from.
Sulphur better keep an eye on Farris Sutteer. He was instrumental in Anadarko's win, rushing for 135 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Another rusher making a difference was Troy Pendarvis, who rushed for 95 yards and one TD.
Sulphur pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 29.2 points thus far. As for Anadarko, their record now sits at 8-2.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Sulphur has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 214.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Anadarko struggles in that department as they've been averaging 196.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Sulphur came out on top in a nail-biter against Anadarko when the teams last played back in November of 2021, sneaking past 17-14. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
