With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 5.2  strikeouts per game. At the plate,  Minton  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances, while  Harrington  scored a  run while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Micah Gettler was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances. Gettler is  crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: he's   snagged at least one every time he's  taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Titius Sloan, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Sheets Memorial Christian had just enough and edged out Gospel Light Christian  8-6 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Eagles have posted  against Gospel Light Christian since April 12, 2016.
 Alexander Christian Academy's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 4-0. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 12.0 runs this season. As for Sheets Memorial Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
