Beacon came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 16-3 margin over the Port Jervis Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 back in April.

Beacon's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Port Jervis, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beacon will venture away from home to face off against Warwick at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Port Jervis, they will be taking part in a tournament against Deposit-Hancock at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.
