After having lost a blowout to Bellevue in their previous matchup, Clayton-Ridge were happy to find some success on Friday. Clayton-Ridge secured a 33-29 W over MFL MarMac. The win was a breath of fresh air for Clayton-Ridge as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
The victory bumped Clayton-Ridge's record up to 1-4. The defeat dropped MFL MarMac's record to 2-3.
Clayton-Ridge will stay at home next week against Alburnett at 7:00 PM. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. MFL MarMac will look to defend their home turf against Maquoketa Valley at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
