There's no place like home for Grovetown, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Rockdale County Bulldogs a 2-0 shutout on Friday. This was a revenge game for Grovetown: when they faced off against Rockdale County back in February, they had to take a 1-1 loss.

Adrian Martinez and Karim Williams scored both of Grovetown's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Grovetown's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7. As for Rockdale County, they dropped their record down to 3-7-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
