The Mardela Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Parkside Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Mardela's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Wicomico 70-10.
Meanwhile, Parkside was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 50-49 to Wicomico.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Diamond Dixon , who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dixon has scored all season. Ronnie White was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Mardela bumped their record down to 0-1 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Parkside, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Mardela was taken down by Parkside 57-14 in their previous meeting back in January. Can Mardela avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
