The Central Catholic Buttons won against the St. Anthony Yellowjackets last Monday with 75 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Central Catholic came out on top against St. Anthony by a score of 75-66. The victory was nothing new for Central Catholic as they're now sitting on three straight.
Central Catholic found their leader in underclassman Tristan Garza, who scored 22 points along with five assists and three steals. Jackson Kahanek was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Central Catholic's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for St. Anthony, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Central Catholic will head out on the road to face off against Lutheran at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lutheran will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. St. Anthony will take on San Antonio Christian at 8:30 p.m. on January 5th.
